MLM Lead Generation Can Make Or Break Your Business Depending On How Your Doing it..
The Challenge
Learning how to build your list of prospects is an art and skill to be learned. Your not born with it and for some, it takes years to master. The challenge lies in having enough people to talk to about your business opportunity to put people in your MLM business at a pace in which you create momentum.
Your personal momentum always proceeds your groups momentum. If you aren't recruiting new reps, your reps won't either. People who are looking at MLM as a business for themselves are looking for leaders. They are looking for someone to show them the way to the promised land.
If you don't have a system in place to consistantly generate leads, you mine as well quit right now because your not going to make it. Most companies are teaching their new reps right off the bat to do list builders. If you don't know what that is, it's sitting down and writing out a list of everyone you have ever known your entire life.
Most people will produce a list, but it's a weak list. They hold back the very names and numbers of the people that are probably the best of the best they have in their network.
Once that list is gone, what now? This is the problem most network marketers face. What next?
Well, if you don't know how to market yourself online, you had better get real good at talking to strangers and going to networking events to meet new people.
I am not cutting this method down. I am just saying that not too many people in the MLM Industry can do this. It takes a learned skill set to be able to relate enough to people to recruit them into your business.
The Solution
You are going to want to have a combination of list building tactics both on and offline. Your going to want to educate youself on how to market, brand and position yourself online as an expert in some marketing area to gain some sort of credibility with your audience. For me, I am real good at blogging, video marketing and SEO. You have to find out what your strenths are and use those to teach others what you know about a specific area in marketing.
Another problem I see in the industry is that people don't know how to monetize their list. This can only be done online, unless someone offline opts into your sales funnel. You really need a system for this aspect of your business and I will get to that at the end here.
What most people dont know is that the money is in the list, not your primary business. What happens to all those people you met at the local supermarket, you got them to an open meeting and they disappeared with your collateral?
If you use a system like I am going to share with you, you will be able to make money off of all the people who say no to your primary business. How? Through affiliate marketing and your auto-responder emails. Yep, emails.
I make more money in affiliate commissions than I do in my primary business. Why? Because they are products that people actually need.
Online MLM Lead Generation takes hard work, but it's way easier than zipping all over town looking for your next hot prospect and then feeling like a loser at the end of the day because you only got 1 phone number.
Do it right online and you will have people calling you on a daily basis wanting to know what your doing and how they can be a part of it. Stop banging your head on the wall. Stop being so skeptical, it's keeping you broke. Learn to market your business on and offline or your journey in this business won't last too long, I guarantee it.
